Transportation
Driving is an excellent means of transportation in Cape Horn. The majority of homes for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, and it is straightforward to park. In contrast, the public transit network in this neighbourhood is rather poor. Thankfully, house owners have access to a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically just around the corner. Travelling on foot is not especially practical for residents in this neighbourhood because few daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle. Even though the cycling infrastructure is quite extensive, Cape Horn is also not particularly conducive to bicycling since there is a considerable amount of slopes.
Services
It is a rather short walk to get to daycares and schools from most houses for sale in this neighbourhood. With respect to food, it is convenient to access the nearest grocery store on foot from most properties for sale in this part of Coquitlam. There are also a few choices for those who care about nearby restaurants and cafes.
Character
People who prefer a relaxed environment will enjoy Cape Horn. This area is quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case near Trans-Canada Highway. Lastly, reaching parks is very easy from many locations within the neighbourhood since there are approximately 10 of them close by for residents to unwind in.
