Transportation
This neighbourhood is a very good neighbourhood for eco-friendly transportation options. The fairly good public transit infrastructure allows people to get to many destinations without needing a car as a result of about 10 nearby bus lines. In contrast, this neighbourhood is not particularly car friendly since almost none of the street network is conducive to cars, and it is a very long drive to the closest highway from any location in North Park. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are especially suitable for walking; most daily needs can be carried out without having to resort to a vehicle, and there are also a good number of businesses nearby.
Services
It is usually feasible for house buyers in this part of Victoria to buy general and specialty groceries by walking. Likewise, North Park is a good place in which to go out to eat or go to a cafe, for instance along Quadra Street. Residents can find many nearby clothing stores. As far as education is concerned, it is a short walk to access schools and daycares from most homes for sale in North Park.
Character
North Park has a character that caters to a fairly diverse group of people. There are many energetic parts in this neighbourhood for those looking for a dynamic vibe. Although the nightlife is limited, there are many people around most of the time. North Park is quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Parks are especially well-situated and there are a few of them nearby for residents to enjoy, which results in them being very easy to reach from many locations in this neighbourhood.
