Primary schools are convenient to reach on foot from most homes for sale in View Royal. On the other hand, there are only a very small number of high schools and consequently they can be a very long walk away. Concerning food, reaching the closest grocery store on foot is an option for some, but not all, house buyers in View Royal. A small variety of restaurants and coffee shops is available as well.

View Royal is fairly good for those who enjoy a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - however some areas can be quite noisy, especially near the railway line, Old Island Highway or Trans-Canada Highway.
