Transportation
Driving is an excellent mode of transportation in this part of West Vancouver. The majority of real estate listings are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, and it is very easy to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in Gleneagles is not very frequent. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. This part of the municipality is not very conducive to cycling because cyclists are faced with a significant amount of elevation changes, and there are very few bike lanes. It is also inconvenient for pedestrians to get around in Gleneagles as very few common errands can be run without having to use a car.
Services
Primary schools are easy to get to on foot from most properties for sale in Gleneagles. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this part of West Vancouver. Concerning food, a fraction of house buyers in Gleneagles may be able to access the closest supermarket on foot, while others will have to turn to another means of transportation.
Character
The character of Gleneagles is exemplified by its relaxed atmosphere. Accessing parks is very easy from most locations in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them close by for residents to enjoy. This part of the municipality is reasonably quiet overall, as the streets tend to be calm - although that is not the case near Trans-Canada Highway.
