Transportation
Cars are a great medium of transportation in this part of the municipality. It is a very short drive to the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any location in Horseshoe Bay, and it is very convenient to come across a place to park. In contrast, commuting by transit can be challenging in this part of West Vancouver due to the infrequent service. Thankfully, property owners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. Horseshoe Bay is not very conducive to biking because the bicycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and there is a considerable amount of hills. Travelling on foot is also not particularly practical for home buyers in this area as very few day-to-day needs can be carried out by walking.
Services
It is very easy to reach the closest grocery store on foot in this neighbourhood. Furthermore, a coffee shop is commonly just around the corner, and there are also a few options for those who care about nearby restaurants. As far as education is concerned, in this area, parents and their kids will generally be able to get to primary schools on foot. However, Horseshoe Bay does not have any high schools.
Character
Horseshoe Bay is a fairly good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm ambience. This area is quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. Finally, access to parks is easy from the majority of locations within the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to explore.
