It is easy for people travelling on foot to move around in this neighbourhood; carrying out daily needs is easy. In contrast, Sentinel Hill is not very appropriate for biking because there is a considerable amount of elevation changes, and the cycling network is rather poor. Thankfully, some enjoyable sectors for bicycling exist. This part of the municipality is very car friendly. It is a short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any location in Sentinel Hill, and it is straightforward to come across a parking spot. However, residents using public transit may have limited choices in this neighbourhood by reason of the low service level. Nevertheless, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop.
Services
The nearest grocery store in Sentinel Hill is usually only a rather short walk away. Additionally, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and a limited selection of cafes is available as well. As far as education is concerned, parents and their schoolchildren will value the proximity to daycares and primary schools, which are within walking distance from vast majority houses for sale in this part of the municipality. In contrast, Sentinel Hill does not contain any high schools.
Character
Sentinel Hill offers a slower-paced atmosphere and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time in green spaces. This neighbourhood is quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - however some areas can be quite noisy, especially closer to Trans-Canada Highway. Finally, there are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to discover and they are very well-located, making them very easy to access.
