Westmount is especially car friendly. It is very easy to find a parking spot, and it is a short drive to the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any home in this area. However, travelling by transit can be difficult in Westmount due to the low service level. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby. Westmount is not very convenient for walking as meeting daily needs is inconvenient. Westmount is also not very bicycling-friendly since the cycling network is quite bad, and there is a considerable amount of elevation changes.
Services
Buying one's groceries usually necessitates the use of a vehicle in Westmount. Concerning education, it is a rather short walk to access primary schools and daycares from most homes for sale in Westmount. In contrast, there are no high schools in this area.
Character
There is a vast selection of green spaces in Westmount. There are a few parks nearby for residents to relax in and they are very well-distributed, which makes it easy to reach them. Finally, since there are very few people out and about on the streets, this part of West Vancouver is relatively quiet.
