Rosemount is reasonably conducive to those who travel by foot; many daily errands can be run without having to use a vehicle. On the other hand, it is challenging to commute by bike in Rosemount as there are a good number of hills, and the cycling network is rather poor. Thankfully, biking is more feasible in some pockets than others. The car is usually the best way to get around in Rosemount. The majority of properties for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 7, and it is very easy to park. On the other hand, Rosemount is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually nearby.

It is a rather short walk to get to daycares and schools from most homes for sale in this part of Kitchener. As far as eating is concerned, it is generally an option for property owners in this area to buy groceries by walking. Additionally, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and there are also a few cafes in Rosemount.
Character
Rosemount is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed ambience. There are a few parks nearby for residents to explore, like Stanley Park Conservation Area and Kolb Greenway, and they are very well-situated, which makes it easy to access them. This part of the city is also reasonably quiet, as there are usually low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case closer to Highway 7 or Highway 85.
