Driving is an excellent transportation option in Bowes. It is especially convenient to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, Bowes is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, residents are served by a few bus lines, and most properties are close to a bus stop. The bike is a fairly poor method of transportation in Bowes because the bicycling network is not very well-developed, and there are a fair number of hills to challenge cyclists. Many of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also not very well-suited for walking as very few daily needs can be carried out on foot.

High schools and primary schools are not especially plentiful in Bowes, and accordingly may require a rather long walk to get to. Furthermore, it can be difficult to get to daycares as a pedestrian.
