Transportation
Driving is an excellent transportation option in Bowes. It is especially convenient to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, Bowes is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, residents are served by a few bus lines, and most properties are close to a bus stop. The bike is a fairly poor method of transportation in Bowes because the bicycling network is not very well-developed, and there are a fair number of hills to challenge cyclists. Many of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also not very well-suited for walking as very few daily needs can be carried out on foot.
Services
High schools and primary schools are not especially plentiful in Bowes, and accordingly may require a rather long walk to get to. Furthermore, it can be difficult to get to daycares as a pedestrian. With regards to food, some home buyers in this area may be able to access the closest grocery store on foot, while others will have to use a vehicle.
Character
Bowes is a good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced ambience. This part of Milton is reasonably quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, although this neighbourhood is not home to any parks, public green spaces are well-situated in nearby neighbourhoods, which makes them easy to get to.
