Transportation
Dempsey is a very good part of Milton for travelling by car. Many properties for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 401, and it is convenient to come across a parking spot. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be difficult in this part of Milton by reason of the service's low frequency. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Travelling by foot in this area is not very popular, despite the fact that running common errands is easy. Dempsey is also not very bike-friendly as the cycling infrastructure is quite poor, and there are a fair number of slopes.
Services
Daycares and schools are easy to access on foot from anywhere in this neighbourhood. In terms of eating, the nearest supermarket in this neighbourhood is usually only a rather short walk away. Likewise, it is convenient to walk to the closest coffee shop, and a small variety of restaurants is available in Dempsey as well.
Character
Dempsey offers a slower-paced ambience and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. This part of the town is quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although there are still several noisier sections, especially closer to the railway line or Highway 401. Lastly, there are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to explore, which makes it easy to reach them.
