It is also convenient for people walking to navigate Downsview; many daily needs can be carried out without needing to resort to a vehicle. Bicycling is challenging in this part of the city as there is a significant amount of elevation changes, and Downsview has a rather poor cycling infrastructure.

Most locations within the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to green spaces, including Mount Sinai Memorial Park and Giovanni Caboto Park, since there are about 20 of them close by for residents to check out and getting to the closest park is very easy from numerous properties for sale. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as the streets tend to be tranquil - however some areas can be quite loud, especially close to Highway 401 or Highway 400.
