It is convenient for pedestrians to navigate this part of the city; meeting daily needs is easy. Commuting by public transit is difficult in Northeast. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. In contrast, moving around by car is very convenient in this part of Regina. Most real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway, and it is easy to park.

Parents and their kids will welcome the proximity to daycares and schools, which are within walking distance from most, if not all, houses for sale in this part of the city. With respect to eating, it is very easy to reach the closest supermarket by walking in Northeast. Parks are especially well-distributed and there are a few of them close by for residents to discover, which results in them being easy to reach from a large number of locations in this neighbourhood. This part of the city is also fairly good for those who prefer a quiet atmosphere, as the streets are reasonably calm.
