Eastview is a fairly convenient part of Saskatoon for pedestrians; meeting daily needs is easy by walking. This area is very car friendly. Nearby highways are very easy to reach from anywhere in Eastview, and it is convenient to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in Eastview is not very frequent. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are generally nearby.

The closest supermarket in this area is typically only a short walk away. Additionally, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, for instance on Preston Avenue. As far as education is concerned, it is a short walk to get to daycares and schools from anywhere in Eastview.
