Transportation

The best method of transportation in this neighbourhood is usually a car. Most houses for sale are a rather short car ride from the closest highway, such as E.C. Row Expressway, and finding a place to park is quite easy. On the other hand, this area is not an especially convenient part of Windsor for travelling by public transit. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily nearby. There are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of this part of Windsor, although many daily errands can be run on foot.

Services

Parents and their children will appreciate that no matter where their home is located in Devonshire, primary schools and daycares are nearby. However, there are only a few high schools and consequently they can be an extended walk away. Regarding eating, some, but not all, house buyers in this area will live within walking distance of the nearest grocery store. There are also over 50 restaurants and coffee shops in Devonshire.

Character

Devonshire offers a great variety of green spaces to enjoy. The majority of locations in the neighbourhood have fairly good access to parks, including Devonwood Conservation Area, since there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit. Finally, this part of the city remains relatively quiet, as there are few people out and about on the streets, although noise levels are higher closer to the railway line or E.C. Row Expressway.
